Specialized Services
Sequential Manual Therapy
Sequential manual therapy is treating the body in a method to reach the source of the pain. When you only treat the area of pain, you rarely get to the source of the problem. This causes increased treatment time, bouts of pain, and dysfunction. We reach the source of the problem by using a very specific, skilled manual therapy screen that looks at the entire body as a whole.
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is used to assess somatic dysfunction in the body and can assist in alleviating dizziness, headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain and much more. It is a gentle technique that is highly skilled in which one of our therapists assesses joint and muscle tension within the skull and how it relates to the spine and tailbone
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique physical therapists use to treat myofascial pain. The technique uses a “dry” needle, one without medication or injection, inserted through the skin into areas of the muscle, known as trigger points. This procedure allows a physical therapist to target tissues that are not manually palpable. The goal is to release trigger points to relieve pain and improve range of motion.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping uses suction cups along areas of pain, soreness, or injury to provide increased blood flow, relieve pain, and promote tissue/muscle relaxation by reducing tension. Cupping can also be used to soften scar tissue and assist in tissue mobility to assist with decreased pain.
Comprehensive Pain Management
Chronic & Acute Pain
For new injuries or long-standing pain, our therapists provide customized care. We use a variety of treatment methods, including manual therapy, postural correction, individualized exercise programs, and pain control techniques.
Joint Pain
Joint pain can be debilitating, impacting everyday activities. Rather than treating just your symptoms, we look for the source of your pain so you can heal faster. Let one of our highly trained physical therapists create a custom plan for your specific needs.
Shoulder & Back Pain
From trauma and sports injuries to posture-related strain, shoulder and back pain can stem from many sources. We conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your entire body to uncover why your pain persists. Common sources include scoliosis, sports injuries, work-related injuries, pregnancy stress, and orthopedic conditions. Our approach aims to alleviate pain, prevent surgery, and restore your ability to live actively.
Knee Pain
Knee pain can be caused by disease or injury and will need to be evaluated by one of our physical therapists. The prevalence of knee pain has increased over the past 20 years, with osteoarthritis being the most common cause in individuals over the age of 50. Through manual therapy, strength training, and targeted exercises, our therapists help you alleviate pain, restore knee function, and return to your normal routine without limitations.
Ankle Pain
Ankle issues, such as sprains, shin splints, arthritis, and tendonitis, can severely impact daily life. Our team will thoroughly assess your condition and create a custom recovery plan. With immediate scheduling and three locations, we’re here to help you get back on your feet quickly.
Migraine & Headache Relief
Headaches can arise from many sources, including musculoskeletal tension, TMJ, sinus issues, and posture problems. Our physical therapists assess the root cause and develop a personalized approach to alleviate your headache pain.
